The Job Market Sucks!
When I obtained my Bachelor's in Dance back in 2023, the stress of finding a job was not something that I felt. I was obviously in a unique field searching for a dance studio where I could become a teacher, and after about three months, I had a job lined up before I even graduated. I had been applying to local studios in January of 2023, and by May 2023, I was subbing at the studio where I would later work for three years. After I graduated, I took a year off from school to really figure out what I wanted to do with my life. Did I want to teach at the college level? Did I even enjoy what I was doing anymore? I felt like I had no direction until one day it clicked. I decided to pursue a different career path that always intrigued me, but I never thought I could do it.
